E.F. Olsson loves to conjure the spirits that haunt his mind and write the stories that they wish to tell.
On his bookshelf, you’ll find vast collections of ghost stories from the Gothic Age, the Victorian Age, the Edwardian Age, the Golden Age, and those of today. His main influences include the work of M.R. James, E.F. Benson, Susan Hill, Shirley Jackson, Richard Matheson, Ray Bradbury, Algernon Blackwood, Joe Hill, and Henry James, as well as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone and the horror films of the 1980’s.
E.F. Olsson writes for his blog as well as on Wattpad and Reddit. He has had one of his stories from the popular NoSleep board on Reddit adapted into audio by YouTuber Shadow Gamma.
He was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, where he still lives today with his wife and three children. Being from the Great Lakes State, he is a member of the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writers.
